It is a webcam...

its a 120fps 2mpx CMOS Sensor (something sony its AWESOME AT) webcam ;).
with 4array mic and nice low light tech.

The PlayStation Eye is capable of capturing standard video with frame rates of 60 hertz at a 640x480 pixel resolution, and 120 hertz at 320x240 pixels, which is "four times the resolution" and "two times the frame-rate" of the EyeToy, according to Sony.
So no, it is not a 120fps 2megapixel camera. The 4 array mic is true, but last I checked 640x480 is equivalent to far less than 1,300,000 pixels, but are commonly taken in 1.3 megapixel image quality. Most cell phones these days have better cameras in them to be honest.

Yeah, megapixels defines whether a camera is better or not...FAIL! Get your facts right.

Excuse me, but you do realize that megapixels is the dominant determining factor of whether a camera is better or not... the larger the resolution/quality you can capture at, the better the camera.
I also was just showing that Xoj's statement was incorrect. There is no doubting that the PS Eye sucks as a high resolution capturing device, but that's not what it is intended for. It just needs to have enough resolution to be able to differentiate between objects.
You, sir, have FAILED! Get YOUR facts right, genious. The PSEye is basically a standard webcam with better low light image detection and a 4 array mic built in.
