The new Playstation 3 commercials have been a big hit. Apparently, Sony isn’t just stopping at showcasing the new model and price tag.
Gran Turismo 5 is one of the most anticipated games on the Playstation 3. Although the game still has no official release date, Sony is already planning a commercial for the upcoming title. Peter Dille, the Senior Vice President of Marketing & PlayStation Network, made the made the following remark on the Playstation.Blog when responding to a comment about the existence of a Gran Turismo 5 commercial:
“Oh, we have one for GT5 all right…”
The remark gives some credence to the numerous rumors about Gran Turismo 5 coming out before the end of 2009 since game companies don’t usually make commercials until their product is ready to ship. Even without any advertisements, the racing game will sell millions of copies based on brand name alone whenever it is released.
