What a shame that EA' NBA Live outsold NBA2k8

While the sales number are even on XBOX360, NBA Live outsold NBA2k8 by a mile on PS2 & PS3
I haven't try the 08 version yet, but NBA2k7 is certainly way better than NBA Live 07
(One is a basketball game, another is an action game which all the people dress in basketball uniform)

I'm used to be a big NBA Live Fan, but EA just get worse and worse,
They dont care about the gameplay anymore, they just spend all the efforts on some useless stuffs such as menu music, shoes graphics, cover boy...etc

Why NBA Live still outsell NBA2k series puzzles me
are people buying it just because it's from EA? a publisher name that they familiar with?

Well at least it seems to be better than last years Live game. I would've bought 2K8 for the 360, but it seems like only Live 08 is being released for the 360 in Japan. I'm not sure if the import (US) version will work on my JP 360 (Bioshock is fine, as I have the US ver.) P.S. Live 08 doesn't even come out til next month :( I had to wait an extra month for Madden 08 too.  

Nba live almost always outsells Nba 2k unfortunately. Even though 2k has been the better game for about 6 years now. Its just the power of name brand loyalty. I always get both eventually though.

The GRAPHICS on NBA LIVE 08 are better than nba 2k8 and the menus are easier to navigate thru.While online on nba 2k8,you have to press inward on R3 to see a person's record and your rating you give someone can be bogus,especially if you're a sore loser or you got yo a** woped,u might leave negative feedback on that person.NBA LIVE 08 shows their record as soon as you scroll down to their name! ALSO you have better dribbling moves you can create while online playing nba live 08.Finally,when you go to friends met nba live 08 keeps track of who u've played-nba 2k8 dont! RENT BOTH and see what you like best.

Well I'm not a basketball game fan but I do generally prefer the 2k series to EA's so I'd prefer it be the other way. This is especially so since EA prevented me from being able to buy the NFL2k games. The absolute horrid mess of a "game" that is NBA Live 08 on the Wii hasn't helped my view of EA in the least.

ONLY IF U PLAY NBA LIVE 08 ON the ps2,ps3,or the xbox360 you will get the best gameplay out of this game-gamespot.com gave the Wii version horrible rating for it(NOT WORTH BUYING on the Wii) I'LL HOLLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea that sucks i dont know why people are loyal to that game... some people dont even know that the 2k series exists.. people say that live has better graphics but come on who has the way better gameplay>> just goes to show that the casuals and average gamers dont really care about all this mumbo jumbo that most of us take serious on the internet

If it was me buying that game (which I wouldn't but anyways) i would buy Live 08. EA has always been the one for sports. Presently i think that Madden 08 and NHL 08 are better than the 2K versions hence people buying those games buy NBA from the same company.
