I hope the author realises you can't send light through an opaque ball... opaque means light doesn't pass through it.
Sony's balls are translucent

The last sentence made me lol.  Sorry.

I wish my balls were translucent. It's be so awesome that I'd consider adding led. Think about it, walking around with flashin crotch!

Then, they can't accuse me for staring at their boobs anymore.

Out of the 2 new motion control schemes, Natal is the more risky. Also, Natal was mostly smoke clouds at E3, while the tech demo actually worked from SONY. M$ does know how to pump up their fans, tho with great marketing. It does help that they own most of the media.

A few things to note; SONY's Motion Controller is very similar to the Wii's. This is great for developers and gamers alike to ease into. SONY has the biggest 1st and 2nd party to really push it, too. After all, it is and always has been the 1st and 2nd parties from Nintendo that have made the Wiimote a huge success. M$ is really gonna depend on the 3rd parties for Natal, which have always seemed to struggle with the motion controles.

EyePet will really help SONY with this, also. My moneies on SONY's being more of a hit. It's gonna be fun to watch either way.

I guess this is speaking about Milo?  Everything else was done in real time.

Lol!  Galaki's on to something, I don't think I'd be able to help but stare if I saw a guy's crotch flashing.

Hmmm. . . so the website "PS3 Informer" thinks the PS3's hardware is going to be better? Strange. I would've sworn such a clearly unbiased source would have gone with Wii.

Don't be silly... the Wii's motion is only a gimmick remember?

He could be talking about the video. Or as I like to think of it, the artist's conception of what playing with Natal might be like.

Ah, I forgot about the video?  Did people think that they already had those games running?

Those were pretty simple game examples as well.  Easily within the confines of Natal's capabilities.  If you liked any of the stuff in that video, you are easily impressed, and will be further impressed when Natal comes out.

I wanna see real pics of the thingy, not that it will be easier to developers.

Seems obvious that Sony's tech is easier than Natal, after all, it's more standard, it's a glorified Wii. Microsoft's, on the other hand, is truly revolutionary, no human interface device gaming. Sony's is easier, more accessible, and probably has more mass market appeal, while Natal is more innovative, riskier, but has a lot more potencial.
