Games writers needed for a startup gaming magazine. You don't need any previous experience but you must have an excellent grasp of the english language and also be passionate about videogames.

Knowledge of retro computers and games would be a distinct advantage, as is the ability to maintain a professional approach to your work, being reliable and keeping to deadlines.

Initially, we are looking for games reviewers and news contributors, although there is scope to write features for the right candidates. The best reviews and the best news features will be published in the magazine.

Please apply by submitting a news article and/or 400 word review to a game released between now and 18 September 2009. The deadline is 21 September 2009 for submission and I am particularly interested in reviews of the following games:

Beatles Rock - Wii, PS3, XB360
Mini Ninjas - PC, XB360, PS3, Wii, DS
Guitar Hero 5 - PS2, PS3, XB360, Wii
Wet - PS3, XB360
Katamary Forever - PS3
Cross Edge - PS3
Blood Bowl - XB360, PC, PSP, DS

We are also looking for an insightful 1200 word retro article on Radiant Silvergun (Saturn) for inclusion in the magazine (with a similar editorial vibe to Edge magazine's Time Extend/The Making Of sections).
