| sinha said: Wow, the OP's headline is such a failure: OP: Valve calls Microsoft "Unfair" Actual quote: "We had the one DLC out for free," Faliszek explained. "And I think... they have to look and say, wow, we're kind of being unfair to everybody else if these guys can do that." So the actual quote is that it would be unfair to other companies for Valve's new DLC to be free, because they already put out one DLC for free. That's almost the exact opposite. Brilliant. |
Calm down. He just mis-read the article. Everyone makkes mistakes. >_<

So M$ charges for a DLC that is free on the PC and then spouts some bullshiit about how they are trying to be 'fair' in doing this. And we are supposed to take that spin at face value? |
MS didn't spout anything. Work on your reading comprehension.

Sony charge more for some downloadable content on PSN than what is costs on Xbox Live, but is free on the PC, is anything fair ? boo hoo....
Valve at least talked them down to 7 bucks... though if it does well I'm sure Valve wont mind the little flush of cash... if it goes all to getting ep3 out the door T_T

lol yep.
We own our platform, Steam," Valve's Chet Faliszek told Eurogamer. "Microsoft owns their platform. They wanted to make sure there's an economy of value there."
Maybe if some of you guys had a clue about business models, you'd realize what the heck he is talking about.
