Ok how the hell does Future trunks get his sword?

In the end of movie 13 Tapion gives little present Trunks his sword,then it shows Future Trunks using the same sword to kill Frieza.

Did present little Trunks go back in time to give him self the sword to fight the Androids? If he did why didnt he just kill the Androids? Also Trunks was using the same sword in DB GT,So how in the hell does Future Trunks get his sword? And its supposed to be a magical sword so he isnt making them.

The movies never tie in right with the timelines anyway.

It does look like a pretty generic sword...

It could be that there are multiple dimensions/timelines and different swords. I'll have to look back into it.

This may seem silly but if Trunks got the sword when he was younger... isn't it possible that he kept it until he was older?

no little trunks got it from Tapion and since future trunks has a different future he shouldn't have the sword

There are multiple universes, which is explained when they go to destroy an as not yet fully developed cell, seeing as the cell they fought came from yet another parallel future.

The only thing i can think of is.

Is the hole tapion thing happened after Trunks killed Cell,wait that dosent make sense cause the Evil guy (i forgot his name) wouldnt be able to free Tapion becaue Piccolo was dead therefore the dragonballs were gone.

The hole Tapion thing happened after the Buu saga,cause Goku went Super Saiyan 3,and Goten and Trunks Fused,Therefore if trunks did keep it,the time line would continue to DBGT, It wouldnt repeat back to the frieza saga,cause Goku would be able to go SS3 and own him.

It did show Tapion in a time Machine,but where could he be going? He wants to go back to his own time when his people were Alive,ok sure but hes still gonna get owned and the SAME things are gonna happen,Could he be going back in time to give future trunks the sword? Possibly,BUT! Why didnt he just kill and the Androids? Oh and he gave his ONLY sword to PRESENT Trunks not Future.

I want the creators of this movie to explain this shit to me.

That's what i thought at first too... but I realized this whole "Taipon" thing likely happens after the androids show up and kill everbody.

Therfore future trunks from the shitty future wouldn't be able to get the sword since goku and everyone involved is dead.
