Forums - Microsoft - I think I just found the most forgotten game of 2009 (Metacritic score: 74)

STOKED

It's unfortunate that the game had not a lot of hype because it turned out to be a well received game.

It has a metacritic score of 74:

Stoked Destineer N/A N/A N/A 0.01m 24th Feb 09

And it managed to sell around 10K. The game was released only for North America.

And this game which has a metacritic score of 60 sells a lot more:

It sold 400K in North America.

Do you remember why you didn't bought Stoked?

It probably got overshadowed by Halo Wars that came out right around then (I think).

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Well Deadly Creatures has a metacritic score of 72 (which is 2 points lower than Stoked) and still managed to sell 10 times more than Stoked.

The MOST forgotten. Can you find a more forgotten game?

So, they're both pretty average? What's the big deal now?
