Yeah, Uncharted freezes for me in the same spot everytime, so I had to stop playing it until somethings done about it, which is a shame.

3.0 is bugged.

If it doesn't resolve, the 3.01 update next week should hopefully address most of the problems users are experiencing.

None so far on my 40GB, but I've yet to run the update on the 60GB.

If you have another user account on your console, try synching with it to see if it's the account or the OS update.

I'm having problems with Batman AA...whenever I quit the game by pressing the PS button and selecting quit game, the screen would turn black and the menu would not come up...I tried turning off the system but it wouldn't turn off...so I had to resort to turning it off from the back...this happened twice to me so far.

yeah we don't need to worry as any problems caused by 3.0 will be getting fixed real soon, anyway i am having no problems with 3.0 yet, and i have got an original 60gb ps3 which is still working well:)

Well $ony has already said they are looking into all the bugs.

I don't want to go into spoilers, but Uncharted was known to freeze quite often in a certain point even with the older firmware revisions. I know it happened to me several times a long time ago.

Does it perchance happen when you're running away from something, after a curious plot twist? If that's the sequence, then it has nothing to do with the firmware. On the other hand I've seen users reporting random freezes that are allegedly a new issue caused by the fw update.
