Which of the 4 major consoles will sell the most Guitar Hero III's Bundles and Games in the first week and month and why?  360, PS2, PS3, or Wii?

360 and PS2 already have Guitar Hero II, but the 360 one is wired and the new bundle is wireless so it should do really well (PS2 remaining wired).  Wii and PS3 do not have Guitar Hero yet so they should do well.  The PS2 install base is so large that it is hard to judge how well it will do.  And this is one of the first major release that appeals to many of the casual and hardcore gamers.

I think this one may be close on at least 3 if not all 4 platforms.

Actually, Madden is a completely different type of game compared to Guitar Hero III. GH III I think fits very well on Wii and I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii version manages to outsell all the other versions. The Wii version might also gain from the fact that Rock Band isn't available for Wii compared to the other 3 consoles. In the end I expect the difference between 360, PS2 and Wii to be rather small, with the PS3 version selling less because of the smaller user base.

I also think that this is other kind of game. It's more casual and more PS2 and Wii owners should buy it.

For what it's worth, Amazon is sold out on pre-orders for Wii, 360 and PS3, but not PS2. I'd guess that at least initially, it'll do best on systems that already have guitars (360, PS2) simply because the game costs less without the guitars.

I can honestly say I have no idea how this one will pan out. When exactly is it getting released?
