Look it's like this. At the start of this generation I had no opinion on the Xbox 360. I followed Sony since the PS1 days and PS3 was my choice of consol. I had nothing bad to say about Microsoft, PS3 was for me and as long as I had that I was happy. Then all these threads started by Xbox Fanboys saying THE PS3 IS DOOMED, PS3 owners wasted there money, haha we robbed this exclusive, PS3 is in last place, I give Sony 2 years before they discontinue PS3.
A full year of that coming from very arrogant and stupid fanboys voicing there opinions and then using ad homien attacks on anyone trying to talk facts is enough to turn anyone against a consol. Who want's to be part of that comunity.
I did plan on owning all 3 consols at the start of this generation just like I owned a Gamecube along with a PS2 last gen. See how thats changed. I've become a fanboy myself because of fanboys. LOL your whole steak moral didn't really make much sense by the way cas it's a totally different thing going on to what you discribed lol but I know what your trying to say but unfortunatly my hate for Xbox did start with Fanboys

I believe I understand what you mean, but my point is you're only hurting yourself. If you deny yourself the pleasure of playing games on a particular console because a percentage of people who own that console try and beat you down for your choice of a PS3, then you're not hurting them or proving a point, you're just denying yourself the enjoyment you could have by owning both.
I guess if it's important to you to make a statement, then have at. But most of the time when I see people "making a statement" against something, the people they're hoping will be impacted aren't affected at all.
And when you say "you 360 fans", referring to those who try to beat PS3 users down, you need to remember that's it's likely a small percentage of 360 owners. Also, even some of those who argue the PS3 is doomed do it half-in jest as a tug of war with similarly minded individuals on the other side. In other words, I wouldn't take it too seriously... they're just posts on a website.
