How long are you going to be gone? Whenever I left.. I just left a big tube of cat food and a huge amount of water.. and the radio on to keep him company. Are you going to be gone for weeks?

2 weeks max. The actual trip is 6 days, with some stops around Florida - Miami, Ft. Lauderdale.

She can't eat regular cat food - she prefers live game. So, I have a pen with live game - but I usually just let her eat while I'm around. Once a day is fine - and I would put her outside, but the place I live - which will remain nameless - has an ordinance against chickens and livestock in city limits. If the city found out I had a cougar, even though I found her as a kitty, I would hate to see the outcome. If I know the neighbors are gone, I'll let her run around my backyard. I have grown rather attached to her, but the older she gets, I think it will come a time where I'll just load her up and release her.

I couldn't let live game run in my house. I am renting it and let me put it like this. Have you seen Marley and Me? Imagine a cat with wild streaks inside of your house. There would be blood everywhere.

I'll figure something out.
