Forums - Sony - My biggest gripe with PSN

The inability to STREAM movies.

If I want to watch anything, I have to download the video. It takes a few minutes and is certainly NOT convinient.

XBL has quick, seamless streaming. IMO this is the only thing where XBL is noticably better than PSN. I dont care about party chat or any of that.

Im not sure if its all movies, but you can watch the movie at the same time as you download it. Still you have to download it though, so i see what you're saying. Im not sure about he video service tough since we dont have that in Europe, yet.

It got watch while downloading option.

Don't you have to be subscribed to Netflix for steaming movies on XBL?

Battlefield Bad Company 2 > Modern Warfare 2

uhh?? afaik you can stream every video on the PSN Store and through the browser (if the container/codec is supported) .. not sure about the video store though

As soon as the download starts, you can watch the video. That like streaming and plus you get the video in your hard drive.

No sir..you do not..and soon the movies will stream in 1080p

Thats if your connection can handle it, also, yes the PS3 doesn't stream movies if your using the internet, but the workaround for that is to start the download, look at your download list, press triangle and play.

Also the PS3 can stream movies from your computer as well by using Windows Media Center.

But maybe I just don't know what type of streaming that you mean?
