Have you played Uncharted 2 mp? I have. And I also own GeOW2 as well. Both are great, and I can say Uncharted 2 is quite similar to Gears but with extra added elements which the OP spoke of.

Sorry but all credibility was lost when you compared Uncharted to Socom.

Nice first day on VGCz...this is what you do....and you continue to say I'm defending gears...when I actually in a way was defending Uncharted 2..And I said...It's more like Socom than anything else..from the video i have seen IMO it controls like Socom as far as shooting the guns go..But that all is changed by the cover system and the climing/platforming.....Uncharted's 2 MP is so different it really can't be compared to anything on the market right now...Socom is the only thing that look similar IMO...LOL....So...Humor me...what makes Uncharted 2 Mp so much like Gears 2?

Why is it every time I go to a forum on any given topic the PS3 fanboys use illogical sense to beat down people who have any shred of liking the 360 better!? Anyways Zizzla Ratchet is right, Gears 2 is a beast online and can't be compared to games like Uncharted 2. I see where he is coming from as socom is somewhat like Uncharted with it's not so perfect control scheme and further 3rd person view. Gears of war 2 however is an extremely intuitive, perfect control, new awesome ranking system etc is leaps and bounds ahead of UC2 online if you want it said bluntly. It's not really a comparison like Zizzla ratchet said! It's people like MrNathanDrake (obvious Sony fanboy) and people who make dumb threads like these who are the downfall of internet forums. I'm not one normally to post as I usually just read but something must be said.

P.S. my theory as to why websites like these seem to have more fans of a certain console (sony) is that most of the other console users are actually playing games and having an awesome time online with friends, instead of going online and justifying their purchase by starting threads with flaming in mind. I for instance am one of those people to occasionally read and not say anything but all you sony fanboys have fun waiting for "exclusive" games and playing the multiplats with inferior graphics in 720p. lol

I own Gears 1 and 2 and have played the Uncharted beta. Uncharted 2 for me, even tho Gears 2 is great. Says a lot about U2.

Naughty Dog have said that this Uncharted will take up the whole BD and be much bigger / meatier than the last. It is the only game that I am truly pumped for the rest of the year.

I havn't played Uncharted 2 MP only gears 2 so I can't comment.
