Forums - Gaming - DSI or PSP GO ? looking to get a hand held.

The problem with PSP go is - there's no guarantee a lot of rare, older PSP RPGs will be available for the download.

Good thing is there's a ton of RPGs coming to PSP in the next year or two, and they will all be available for the download.

I put a good amount of the PSP rpg's on the first page. There are alot upcoming too, don't count it out!

Guys! Guys! You can never have a DS Vs PSP argument without bringing up the fact that the DS has Phoenix Wright :D

OT: DSi

They are both good, solid well designed systems. However when you take the price point of the PSP Go and compare it to what you get with a DS or DS-I. The Nintendo system comes out far ahead. Not to mention the sheer number of games that is availabel for the DS as opposed to the PSP which has a much smaller library.

If you want hardcore RPGs then go with psp, I had a DS before and you just cant enjoy a RPG on that. Buy a PSP Go if you listen to music and etc too, or just buy 3000 if u just want games.

^^also have u seen psp's gameing line-up, I dare say it even beats the console exclusives, also a TON of classic RPG's will be coming to the PSN store, a lot of FF games too.

Wait...why does your profile say you own Pokemon Diamond and WarioWare Touched? Do you actually own those games and a DS or not? Or do you have a brother or sister or something that own them? Anyway, get a PSP if you already own a DS. If not, get a DSi. But not sure why you'd add them if that was the case.

because my sister owns a ds, and when shes at her friends house i use it lol, those are 2 games i got at a gaurage sale for 15 bucks for the two

Not even a battle

DSi wins...especially in the RPG genre

the dsi would be the better choice for now. I haven't seen information on how the GO plans to release past titles or their pricing. If it were between the dsi and the psp3000, then the decision would be a little tougher.

@keywe666:
My suggestion is to ignore all posts which recommend one system/library over the other. Look at the RPG list links I posted earlier and decide based on games. In my opinion the choice of a system should always be determined solely by the games you're interested in, not the system's features, not the system's controls, not other people's opinions.
