Because few people have had problems. Its just when there is any kind of problem with PS3 people jump on it, thinking it'll turn into a RROD issue. The reality is a few people have issues and the majority are fine.
never will, the PSP firmware never glitched first-gen PSPs and they are extremely different then my PSP-3000 and the upcoming PSP Go.
