My local Gamestop is pretty good(My brother hates it). They always give me pre-order bonuses if I buy the game on the first day. Just because I have been a long time customer

The Gamestops around me is like 3 miles away. So I tend to buy my games from Wal mart or Gamecrazy to get my games.

I just dislike how, at most Gamestops, key word most but not all, the employees are so damn biased about everything. They hate the Wii for the most part and the few gamestops around where I live they are all Xbox360 fanatics. And that is fine if they personally are but dont make me and my ps3 purchases feel like I am second class and the poor Wii game buyers the people make it seem like they are the redheaded stepchildren of gaming. It is ridiculous. Be a fan but dont be like that if you are at a store that sells all 3 consoles. I really have recently become a huge fan of Play N Trade stores the people there are so nice and helpful.

We use to have a Play N Trade, but they closed down shortly after opening up.  In my town, its Gamespot dominating and one 3D Games store.

Just buy new games from the VGChartz Amazon portal. To sell used games, i would probably just set something up on craigslist.

They are a franchise.  I have no idea how many stores they have, but their website says they plan to open 50-100 more this year, so I'd imagine they'd be in a lot of places.

Compared to Gamestop, 3D Games pays less for used games but their used games are cheaper to buy, and they sale retro consoles and games from Atari to last generation.  I've sold and bought a lot of Super Nintendo games off of them, which also makes me want to kick myself for throwing away boxes and trading/losing games with friends as a kid.  For instance, if I still had Super Mario RPG it would be worth $50 and if I kept the box and papers for the original Zelda it would be worh hundreds of dollars.

Ok, sounds like 3D Games is a good place. Anyplace that sells the retro consoles is good in my book.

Yeah I feel ya I didnt start keeping the boxes and paperwork until the N64 generation. I wish I had the box and papers to my original Zelda among other games, but oh well, young and didnt think about future.

I straight quit also, back in 03. I was an assisstant manager and one night I decided I had enough, came in right when they opened, threw my keys on the desk and fucking peaced.  I absolutely hated our DM. I couldn't (and still can't) fucking stand him. I think I've only shopped there twice since, and that was because best buy, circuit city (when it was alive), kmart, and 2 wal-marts didn't have what I was looking for, and the other was for the mgs4 collector's edition. Fuck gamestop.
