It's far too cool looking to be acceptable in as a mainstream multimedia device. Bland, plain, and blendable is what people look for, not cool. Why do you think the home consoles are still square?

Oh I agree, and it sucks.

it looks so ugly

way over the top....though I like it in some ways this one in particular

lol, I would be embarassed if somebody came over to my house and saw that. Looks awful and way to niche.

who the hell wastes time to make something like this?

designers, prototypers. These could really be design concepts that Microsoft has already when through honestly.

I don't think that could look any worse.

looks like a wasps nest lol

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

Black and red one looks best to me, though none of them say "classy piece of electronic technology over here", more like "Hey big boy, me love you long time."

I'm looking for understated elegance in my living room gadgetry, not alien cocoons (the translucent green).
