Ok, because of this thread http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=84558&page=1 I want to point something out.
There is thread on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/PS3-slim-overheating/forum/FxT8EMG5FHRYWF/TxEVCTZ2K6XOKF/1/ref=cm_cd_ef_tft_tp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=B002I0J4VQ
Person is converned about heat and got following suggestion
you have the power cord connected to the PS3 the wrong way...take the power cord out of the PS3 and turn it around and plug it back in..the words that are written in white on the cord have to be facing up when you plug it in to the PS3 Slim or you get serious heating problems and it might even catch on fire.
And looks like it helped him.
I have no idea how power cord could be connected incorrectly, and how plugging it differenly could help preventing heat problem. Maybe someone who got PS3 Slim could investigate this ...
