Sorry to hear it. I'm on my fourth PS3 myself - but this doesn't automatically make PS3 as bad as 360 (in fact the known fail rates make it much better of course) it just means you and I have been very lucky and have spent all our time hanging around the 3% or so crowd of failed PS3's instead of the 97% or so of no problems at all folks.

Just like they say about the lottery - 'it could be you' only in our case we're not the winners.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Ive been a victim once after about 2 years. But like seriously LITTERLY I played over 10 hours basically every day. I even skipped school to play ( Yeah I know? Like wtf? ).

I expected it to die. I just didnt think it would happen when Bret Hart had stone cold in the sharpshooter :( XD

Consoles owned: Game Cube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3.

My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.

Hi All... Some on this site actually had a good idea. So I have been trying to iopen up my PS3 and replace the Blu-ray drive. But its impossible to get into it. Does anyone have a good guild on opening and repairing it.. ?

And to all the Sad people who have written messages about me not actualy having a PS3 and making it up... All I can say is I have a little more going on in my life, so I don't have to site here and make up a story about a games console going wrong...

What I ment by the PS3 is as bad as the 360 is that even though my 360 failed I had it back and working within 8ish working days... and it cost me nothing and no stress... The crappy PS3 is costing my money and giving me quite a lot of stress... I have started to use it a bit because in the UK its selling so bad that all the multi-platform games take about 2 weeks to go in the bargin section, where as the 360 ones hold there price for months. So thats why I have started to use is a bit more.. but now that looks like it...

When my ps3 got the ylod i just bought a new one i wasn't about to send it back to Sony. 3 of my friends did that and they sent back ps3s that didnt even last 3 months
