I never played the game, but that trailer looked like something I wouldn't like. Can anybody explain why it is good? What genre is it anyway? I'm assuming hack n slash action, because of the references to DMC.

It was Hack n' Slash but it was FAR better then ANY DMC would hope to be, its RPG elements while rather light made it unique and you really had to strive to be good at this game.
