@ Dtewi - You know as well as I do, you just don't want to admit it. Ive seen alot of gay people about on my travela, I rekon it's a fair indicator of the majority of gays. Pick out a part of my post that you think is un-true, or factually wrong.

@ Baz - Dude, I was in Glasgow over the weekend (shithole by the way) and I was walking along the street. Two lesbains were up ahead of me in the middle of the street in the city centre rubbing each others legs and snogging. One was dressed like a hooker and the other one was a big bulky girl (to replicate the male). I've never seen straight people do that, at least while they are sober. I then walked into a shopping centre and there was a feminine like male doing hairdressing with a really camp accent. I'm not saying gay people dont like meaningful relationships, I'm just saying they are less frequent among the community.

Also, Ireland is alot less 'gay' that most of the world because in comparison to the world few people immigrate here, and there is a far smaller population here than in other parts which means there are less homosexuals. Over here is also composed of around 95+% of the same race, compare that to New York for example.

So homosexuality is caused by mixing races?  You sure you mean that?

Ireland is more conservative than New York, more traditional and in the rural areas, far more judgemental than somewhere cosmopolitan than New York. I think, to be fair, the amount of gay people will not vary based on nationhood. Their likelihood to do it in public is subject to culture and tolerance.

And Dtewi picked out the parts that were factually weak. That is there were no facts, only statements of opinion backed up with no evidence other than what you are subjectively perceiving. If you cannot tolerate the public kissing of gay people then you are going to notice it. I have to say I don't tend to notice gay people snogging very often. I do, however, see and remember gay couples holding hands in the street and even kissing goodbye. This, however, is merely a series of observations and does not allow me to claim factual knowledge about the gay community.

No, thats not what I meant, you know what I mean. And I can tolerate homosexual kissing in public, it's just they always seem to do it in their 'Im gay and Im proud fashion' when I am about, it's like they are making a public statement. I have no issues with seeing two blokes doing what you just described, and my factual evidence is what I have witnessed in my lifetime. That's factual evidence for me, I'm just telling you of it and you can make what you want of it.

I know what you mean I can tolerate black people at my country club, it's just they always seem to golf in their 'I'm black and I'm proud fashion' when I am about, it's like they are making a public statement.

@ Dtewi, it's a very good indicator, I have been all over the UK, and in parts of NA.

You know fine rightly what Im talking about, when I see gay people all over each other in the middle of city centres putting on a scene it's hardly just pure romance.

Just because they're YOUR personal experiences doesn't mean they hold true for ALL gay people. As axumblade said, you wouldn't know about the "reserved" ones because they blend into your view of society. You don't know all gay people in America and Britain even though you've been "all over".

Ah jeez. In your first post you wrote "I'm not saying this because I'm religious" but it appears you pretty much are. Disappointing.

This topic is incredibly disturbing. Hopefully someday Artist and TheTruth will grow up and look back at their younger years and think "wow, I can't believe I actually thought and said those things." At times like this seeing people talk this way I just like to remind myself that people aren't static, they are constantly changing and their views evolving, and hopefully soon certain people in this topic won't sound like farmers from the 1920s talking about negros. That is to say, perpetuating stereotypes and saying "you know it's true". All things in time though.

I've thought and said these things for many years now and I'm very sure they won't change. Really your're from the 1920's? Wow tell me what they said about me. Or did you acknowledge that from learning and heresay.

NINTENDO

Yes, I know, but my personal experiences are still a decent indicator. I have also clearly stated that not ALL gay people I have seen have been like I described, Im nowhere near that stereotypical. Maybe Ive just been in the wrong parts of the world and have bumped into many flirtatious and sex loving homosexuals, and it's not nice for young ones (kids) to see that in my opinion. The same goes for straight people, I don't like people having near intercourse on public streets nomatter what their sexuallity is, my main point is just that according to my personal experices homosexuals just seem to do it far more often.

I wonder why black people might do that...

Or any minority. Think of the historical context people.
