seriously, they were, u could host your own servers, and it only audio. it's not that tasking for the pc or the upload/download rates.

Thats what i said. Premium ones cost a small fee. But you can get regular Vent and TS for free. And it does go offline if the host shuts down. Not logs off, but if he turns off his computer .. obviously, since the server goes down by doing so.

not all servers ask for a fee, my friend was in canada had a decent connection
we were 10 players peer chatroom with no lag, but of course it was mainly for friends.
