Forums - Microsoft - BBC: Microsoft in web photo racism row

What a racist move, even if there were no "Black people" in Poland (which there are) what's the worst that would have happened if they had aired the original ad? What, all the "white people" in Poland that hate "black people" would boycott Microsoft, what would have happened?!!

Give me a break dude, trying to defend this move just says a lot about your character, and the corruptive minds that manage Microsoft's marketing.

Well i dont see how is that racist?

They decided that this would be more appealing to their customers that's it, its not racist because it doesnt target anyone. Shitty little photoshop that's it.

i saw this on engadget-
thats more sad it's crappy photoshop attempt.

they even left the black guy hand!.
seriously it hurts to see his neck like that.

I really hate when people try to defend these things.

"fanboy" of Microsoft should make comments about this.

What a shitty move.

Shitty because of what happened and shitty because it's a shitty photoshop. Even if you are ignorant enough to justify the photoshop itself, there's still no way you can justify the poor craftmanship.

@loy There are very few black people in most non western European countries. There is also a lot of racism toward blacks there. Having a black guy in an ad could have damaging, it makes sense to remove him if the market isn't supportive of it.
