TBH I don't think that a slight model rearange would create buzz, the 40 -> 80 GB PS3 didn't aside from the wishful BC thinking.

If they weren't waiting to drop their prices until Sony dropped their prices, then why did the prices drop conveniently the weekend that the PS3 Slim was "supposed" to be released at a lower price?

Funny how everyone forgets the Xbox 360 price cut rumour leaked months ago (pictures even before the Slim official announcement) along with the PS3 Slim rumours...

Even people with Anosmia could smell the PS3 price cut coming... How much more so the competition? There is no way in hell Microsoft was surprised and hurried to change their plans the day the Slim and price cut was announced...but whatever it takes to make you fanboy's feel better huh? Sad..
