@AoiRayn: PvP in WotLK? People (including myself, I guess) have been bitching nonstop at how ridiculously fast the battles are at 80. It seems to have slowed with the recent patch, though (I don't play much nowadays). Anyway, fast battles are no good, because when you're dead too quickly there's no opportunity for a real fight (skills, decision making). I definitely preferred S1-S2 BC much more than pre-BC pvp, though I can understand the dislike for slower fights. In S3 I played a resto druid in a dru/hunter 2.2k+ team, and man, that was completely awful. Sadly I quit for a year just before the season ended, so I never got to see my Glad title / Netherdrake mount...
@twesterm: Funny you mention the group thing. FFXI or any MMO that forces you to group in order to progress is a huge turn-off to everyone I know that plays MMO's irl (we were talking about it recently). I suppose WoW is so successful because it tries not to "force" you to do anything, in order to progress.
