Forums - Microsoft - Bungie Won't Say If Halo: Reach Is The Studio's Last Halo

as much as i love the halo franchise, i'm getting sick of the milking. Bungie rules, but the should move to other projects.

Why move on to other projects if all the Halo games have been great and are still in demand? As long as they keep making quality games, I'll keep playing them.

Halo wont end, its too good a franchise that makes too much money for it to end.

Halo-verse can go in many directions...I'd like to see a Halo RPG, especially if Mass Effect goes Multi-Plat anytime in the future. I know an internal studio has been created to deal with things Halo, so maybe we will get an inkling of what they are doing next E3.

Bungie and Microsoft should milk the Halo series and keep on bringing out new games. If Halo games keep selling millions of copies - it would make sense to continue the Halo series into the future. Final Fantasy, GTA series, Mario series, etc all have been milked to death - because they sell lots of copies and make huge profits for the companies.

Halo 3 has sold over 10 million copies and keeps on selling. Halo 3:ODST will sell between 5 to 6 million copies and it is set between Halo 2 and Halo 3 games. Imagine what sales numbers Halo: Reach and possibly Halo 4 would make if they are released in the future.

IMO XBox = Halo.

since they did halo 1 & 2 for the original xbox, it means that probably reach will be the last for the 360... I guess for the xbx720 we'll have halo 4 and reach 2....
