they should make a halo 4, and then call it quits, its been a long ride after all

I think reach should launch the Natal, and Halo 4 should launch the nextbox, and then bungie should be done and move on like you say because I agree, it has been a long ride.

But Microsoft will NEVER allow Halo to completely die.

Yeah that sounds like a good plan.

Except the Natal part. Halo and Natal should never be merged.

Halo's sake..I want Bungie surgically removed...

Why ?

Graphics, Less Hang time during jumps...and a few other things I wish were slighty different...I wish Infinty Ward and MSGS would team up...

err...no. Just no!

Halo made by infinity ward would be a laughable event. Realism based, macho, space soap opera...LOL

Bungie knows how to make FPS games fun more than any dev out there and I hope they keep making Halo's...but they should branch out and do other games too.

I'm not saying it's bad...I just think IW would make A Halo Game I would really get into...but alas...I have only played Halo games in campaign and just recently I'm getting into the MP

Yeah, halo campaign didn't evolve much. Halo 1 was revolutionary in 2001. Halo 2 was more of the same and Halo 3 was more of the same with 4 people coop. MP is where the game decided to evolve.

I am familiar with IW titles and while I'm sure they will make a great FPS...it wouldn't be Halo.

IW tends to be very scripted in their games...and Bungie's Halo has a lot more freedom. "Pick up rocket launcher and destroy the tank to move on" wouldn't work so well for Halo.

as much as i love the halo franchise, i'm getting sick of the milking. Bungie rules, but the should move to other projects.

theyd be stupid to not make halo games anymore
EVERYOEN knows of thet halo franchise, and each game makes millions. Does Bungie think they can do better?

Halo is Microsoft's Mario, so expect the Halo universe to keep going on and on and on and on and on... All they need is Master Chief Brawl, Master Chief Kart, and Master Chef: Cooking Papa, and they will be set. Then do sequels over and over.

I hope Halo: Reach is Bungie's last Halo, the franchise will continue with MS Studios (after all, is their brand) but i want Bungie to start doing new IPs, everything they did since Halo:CE is a Halo title after a Halo title... I want new IPs from them...

If it ain't broke...

Why must people keep saying this?

Wow every Halo game is original and not milking, there's a lot more milked series out there today.

Well I don't agree.

I'm currently reading the last book of the three (First Strike). And so far, the game lineup articulates quite well around the stories of the book.

ODST is the only parallel story in the series so far (from what I saw, it is the assault on New mombasa, the beginning of Halo 2).

Halo Wars is very early in the story, with the invasion of Harvest and the cole protocol.

Halo Reach will probably... well.. tell the story of the fall of Reach which is a major event in the Halo Universe.

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
