If it's been reliable for a couple years now you probably shouldn't sell it if you still want a PS3 unless you manage to get a good haul for the console on ebay/craiglist/etc.

Also Blazblue go buy that.

If you don't want PS2 BC then yes, if you like the slim more then why not? If you put your PS3 on eBay you could probably get at least $400 or so since it it BC with PS2 games I'm sure.

Im keeping my 60gig, i already replaced the drive with a bigger one so I dont see much point in the slim...besides I have around 100 ps2 games many of which I still like to play once in a while, getting a slim just wouldnt make any sense.
