Makes sense considering that the stocks of the bigger PS3s are drying up.

I'm curious though, do PS3 slims come with 3.0 firmware?

I was sick of waiting for Amazon to send confirmation that mine had shipped. I was going to stop at Gamestop on the way home tonight to see if I could luck out and find one that was not spoken for and then just cancel my pre-order when I got home. But alas, I checked my e mail in the car, and finally had confirmation that my PS3 had shipped from Amazon. It will be here Thursday. Woo hoo!
