Keep your 60 gig. if anything it will be collectors item soon! you'll probably get more on ebay for it, just for the BC!

Shame about the HDD issues, i've upgraded mine to 320gig. unfortunately, i'm about to fill it up...

i already have a 120GB HDD from my sister's broken laptop, i just wanted a new console, my PS3 was second hand, but its better for me to spend the £99 on games rather than a new console

If you never played PS2 games on it, it's very likely you never will. So upgrade now, it's a NEW system with bigger HDD, and runs a lot cooler. Hardware failures are a lot more common on that old 60GB version, you know? You've got nothing to lose, always choose NEW over USED!

Here in Europe there was never an option to buy the proper Hardware Backward compatible PS3. The launch PAL 60GB is not the same as the 60GB in America.
