Ok.. well then. Thread over.
That I'll probably shell out for the Pro while its still out, and that i'll manage without internet connectivity for a while, well i wont have it connected all the time. Atleast not the wireless kind, but i'll connect it with the ethernet cable at first just so that i can see what XBL is all about. But it wont be a permanent solution, just when i feel like checking out whats new.
I had some problems with DNS when i switched the ethernet cable between my PS3 and Laptop right away, so will see how it handles PS3 to 360.
And thats about it. Im a bit hesitent though, since it won't do all the things id prefer it would. But the option of downloading games is a big plus, BIG plus!

Well you can also try this.. Like I said, I have no wireless, but I assume this works. It'll cost you some trouble, but it'll cost you less money.. See if you wanna do it.. Might be too complicated for the average person but yeah i think you're the best judge to see what you want/can do about it..

20 meters = 65.6167979 feetIts not that my router is 70 feet away from my tv. But i'd have to nail it along side the "strip"(?) (translation?), the wooden thingy that goes along the bottom of the wall. Otherwise i'd have to have the cable across the hallway and through the livingroom. My appartment is 775 square feet according to this conversion table: http://www.metric-conversions.org/cgi-bin/util/conversion-chart.cgi?type=3&from=3&to=11 So no.. im not a liar :D |
Ah, I get it. I was just super confused, like I said, I didn't think you were lying. It's more about getting it out of the way. And in English the strip of wood that goes along the floor on the wall is called a "baseboard", because I'm an architecture nerd.
