@Destroyer_of_knights.

Well then, it makes perfect sense that the team is only working on the PS3 platform. So I have a quest for you. Why not make it for the 360 at the same time in the first place? That is a question we may not have an answer to. But I'm 110% sure Nomura made it clear enough that it is staying on PS3. It's really up to him. He's the boss so to speak lol

Unlike FF13, versus is a spin off the main game, hence has a lower priority when compared to FF13 which in it's self is nearing release, there is nothing to stop a 360 port of versus from happening once the 360 team has finished FF13, don't forget they are using the crystal engine which as you know is a multiplform engine. What we may end up seeing next year is that the PS3 version is done *80% while the 360 version is *40%, mimicking the same thing that happened with FF13 on PS3 and 360.

* made up BS numbers used only as any example.

FFvsXIII is not a spinoff.

is it the main game in the FF series? No

is it a proper sequel to FF13? No

is it based off the FF13 universe? Yes

is it a spin off of the main FF13 game? Yes

I'd say it's a 100% spin off, otherwise it would be the main game, or set in another universe, but the fact that it's based off the same universe as FF13 and is not the main game of the series and is not a sequel to FF13, simply says spin off.

That's not to say it will be a bad game, because it probably won't be, but to say it's not a spin off is a bit off, to me it's a 100% spin of the main game, however if you say FFvsXIII if it's not a spin off, then what is it?

LOL! SE's time frame is different from us.

It's like they have 18 months in 1 year.

2011?!
Geez, I gotta take this game off my wishlist.

Infinite undiscovery was funded by MS and they probably did get some money to make SO4 exclusive for at least a year, they released an unfinished version of the TLR for the 360 because Microsoft needed a big game for the christmas season in Japan, it appareantly wasn't a financial success, and they seem to think that it would have the fate on the PS3.

I wouldn't worry to much. The MS/S-E deals haven't worked, Nier en Front Mission are comfirmed to be multi-plat and that card game seems to be a PS3 exclusive.

Hasn't the PS3 version been canceled ages ago?

It could be because they're sticking to making it for one console. I expect to see this game in 2010.

No, they just announced it in the latest Famitsu.

Looks boring though.

I can't find anything about a platform, and the second link is about the first Lord of vermillion.
