^Sweet! It looks like that's how it works.

How does it work for the other 2 games, though? It shows your 3 recent games, but you can't possibly have 3 games in the PS3 so it seems pointless. Unless it starts the game without the disc? But I highly doubt that.

I'm guessing if you have the correct disk in, it will work, if not, it won't.

Certainly makes 3.0 alot better, for me at least.

that is fantastic!! am i getting this right that if i leave a game for whatever reason i can jump straight back into it without sitting through the whole starting up bit?

I think the video just cut to Wipeout for demonstration purposes.

However, even if that is the feature, I assume games will need to be patched to work with the system, I doubt that they will be.

If that is the feature, though, it could be a stepping stone to the likes of cross-game invites and a universal clan/party system - again, these features will have to be patched into the individual games, first.
