Ok, so I recently bought Madden 10 and I absolutely love it, but what I don't understand is why games like Madden, or NBA 2K9 or NHL 09 have so many technical issues. There are so many graphical bugs in these games and I wonder why. Why can games like Killzone 2, Uncharted, Crysis, Gears of War 2, and Metal Gear Solid 4 look so damn good, with minimal graphical bugs and with so much more happening on screen? Anyone care to explain?

There is only one game for each sport because of exclusivity deals so there is no reason for the developer to polish them, as they have no competition.
