Honestly, I haven't been afford a next-gen console.  I didn't really think I needed one.  I didnt have an HDTV till this week.  now i had a choice a 360 or a ps3.  the 360 might have a few more bells, but the PS3 does it all. 

there's alot of xbox defenders on here, and isee where they are coming from, but its hard to argue that for the dollar the ps3 has the games, functionality, and multimedia function to get the edge.

well congratulations on not researching both consoles enough, and then asking fanboys what they would get. Somehow I would've forseen you not getting a clear answer.
Xbox = price, free games.
ps = blu-ray, free online.


now make your decision. Both consoles have exclusives, so the lists don't matter especially when their libraries are nearly the damn same anyway.

Although many people (myself included) would feel that people should do their own research, you can't actually dicatate that. Why does he need to do his own research, and not ask other, more well informed people? You could probably give out a lot of reasons like he's being lazy, but you can't give an objective reason why he's doing something condemable.

We should be always seeking out future contributors to this community, and you shouldn't just be rude to him and possible drive him out of this forum. If we constantly do this, this forum will simply stagnate, slowly its members will leave and get banned, and there'll be nothing left.

And yes I know why you are defending him: He chose your beloved ps3. Maybe you don't believe this, but in the back of your head, you are thinking it. It's like if some guy with terrible ingliss skills made a "wii or ps3" thread. People would make fun of his grammar, while wii fans would be trying to shelter him. It's that simple. But you should have typed nothing.

Besides, it's another ps3 promotion thread, he even admits it anyway. These get very annoying.

He didn't know what a Blutooth or HDMI was. In that respect, we're well informed. And let me tell you, if a fanboy of a console criticizes something for their own exclusive, you'll know for sure that you can count on it, whereas fanboys of the other consoles would dish out lots of BS reasons.

I told him that he should get a PS3 simple because he had more games he wanted for it. I didn't even mention Bluray, let alone hardware. That was my only advise and contribution for him. My other posts didn't do anything else but talk about irrelevant things. If he had more Xbox games (hence why I asked him if he's not thinking it enough through, since he's missing a few big names for the Xbox list) then I would have told him get an Xbox, unless Bluray is something important to him. While internet is nice, and I think it gives a huge advantage over the 360 in respect to the 360 having Facebook and such, it's all secondary to games.

So please, stop acting like you know what I'm thinking "in the back of my head". I am a PS3 fanboy, but I can't bullshit. I can spin stuff if I want, but in the end, I can't straight up bullshit. And the fact is that he had more games he wanted on the PS3. So please, all I told you was to stop being rude to him. You should do that to all people, regardless of if they're a fanboy or not, if they're PS3, Xbox, or Wii. Even if he's rude (he made a few funny insults, but those were well deserved in my opinion XD) you should take the higher ground. One person doing something bad doesn't give you a pass to do the same.

As a senior member of the forum, you should serve as an example, not degrade yourself into calling me a fanboy (well... I am XD), and trying to get psychological about me, just because I called you out on being hostile to another new memeber.

Because they are basically the majority of the new threads, statistically, it's impossible not to.

I thought this was a legit thread, but after reading this and a few other post by him, I'm fairly positive this is a stealth troll alt account.
