But then again Ramadan isn't really about the fasting, its more about getting closer to Allah (God). Some people that do it so cheaply it isn't even funny like sleeping til 6pm so they can go without food for only 2 hours. The majority should just presume their daily lives as normal.

Some people have it harder then others but in the end we believe Allah will repay us for our efforts (some more then others)

Muslim here, but don't worry about these things.

I believe God has taught over and over again that all that is needed is being a good person to everyone. Every religious text has that as the cornerstone of their faith. Even Atheists would agree that being a good person is the best way to live.

Happy Ramadan! i'm not Muslim, but i'd like to know more about ramadan and eid if anyone wants to explain it to the non-muslims on the chartz? (i could wiki it, but i'd prefer to have a conversation about it)
