1) so everyone in Japan is minority? take a look at sale figures, xbox 360 may have a large margin ahead of ps3 in US, but everywhere else they are close to each other

( no need to mention that many xbox owners have multiple consoles due to RROD),

what makes you think number of xbox owners far exceeds ps3 owners everywhere in the world?

I find it way better to just plug in the USB cable to the controller and charge it, than to use normal rechargable batteries, its not like its a pain in the ass, you just get up and plug the thing and you can still play from your seat(depends on how far you are, but the cable is long) and it charges in a few minutes and lasts for a long time.

The third reason is dumb, you can get the ps3 to play games and not use the bluray funcionality, the ps3 is primary a gaming machine, to play games, and if the games you like are on the system I dont see whats wrong witjh choosing it over any other one like the wii because of games.

You may disagree in the first 2 points and maybe thats why you could choose another console.

I have a 61in HDTV... how close do you think I sit to the PS3 and TV to use a USB cable?

did you see the length of the PS3 controller recharge cable it's like 1-1/2 feet long...

If the PS3 controller charged when the PS3 was off Like the 360 it would move up on my list, because I already fixed the L2 R2 trigger problem for a small price..

1) Most of my friends have a ps3 =s but i rather playing Single player games personally

2) i like the ps controller got used to it ages ago been playing it more than 15  years

1) opposite for me, but I think the question in the article was asks for people that play online..

2) I liked the PS controllers 15 years ago as well, but as I grew up so did my hands, and the controller needed an update, and if they were going to change something, why touch the PERFECT Triggers?  why not make In-Dents to the analog sticks so you thumbs rest comfertably?

3) You asked what should you do if you don't want Netflix or Blurays, thought it was a joke question so I said Wii, thats why I said "I don't know what you mean"

did i say every single person? what about the people have their warranty out or just cant be bothered to send it and wait for it come back? how many xbox 360 do you own btw .

so??? now we know more xbox owners are hardcore gamers that like to own games, and ? does attach ratio is a indication of userbase? Wii has the lowest attach ratio.....did you really not know?

more xbox owners are FPS fans in comparison to ps3 and Wii, everyone knows that, would that help you tell?

Your case is an specific case which doesnt make trhe console "bad" in that aspect, it may not be the choice for you if it seriously bothers you that much. I also dont know how much is a "feet" since I use meters,  but its long enough for me to sit on the couch and have it connected while I play, a distance many use to sit and play their games. Like I said before, your best choice may be the 360, but creating reasons why the console is bad like the guy in the article, is childish and completely ignores the different aspects in each one of us at the moment to pick a console and using your parameters to decide for the others.

On the other thing, I already read you said it as a joke, I didnt notice, sorry its just that I didnt find it funny.
