Yeah. With keyboard support it is playble on PS3 but X360 is different story...

Square got FFXI working on 360..What would stop them from getting FFXIV to work..and from what I hear...It will play almost the same

Probably the exclusivity deal with Sony that must exist for Sony to have said it was an exclusive at E3.

And what about Phantasy Star Online?...They worked well and was a run away hit on DC...Don't if the Universe did well....Oh and by the way...360 already has MMO's...Including FFXI....

So is the Xbox 360...And FFXI already on there..it should be a breeze...

Well, I expect a 2011 release of the game on the 360, with the PC/PS3 getting it next year.

To me it depends on when the PS3 version is about half way done...If 2010 is the release date...for PS3..I don't think it will any later than summer time..and if so...an winter 360 release is likely...I've read that SE(or Sony) Wants this with no Fee...If so...I doubt MS would accept anything else...and if it happens...And MS makes this open to silver members it will be huge...you can already play FFXI with out gold...but you have to pay SE a monthly fee...anyways...I don't want to ignite any controversy..but I believe Sony wanted this as a full Exclusive...

Tretton was supposed to say it was timed Exclusive...but said it was exclusive instead....On GTTV he said it was Console exclusive...then SE dropped the bomb the next day...

It will work but it is different story that is it enjoyable. Writing chat messages with pad is pain. So slow that it takes ages to write little longer message. (and chatting while playing is key features in MMO's.)

     I think that if the PS3 Slim and the holiday games for PS3 in Japan have the desired effect, then the 360 version might get cancelled.  And, if it isn't ofiicially announced at TGS, I think the odds of a 360 version will grow a bit slimmer.

Maybe SE is playing hard to get to get more money out of Microsoft. I definately wont buy this game if they don't add Keyboards as a control option on the PS3.
