The new PS3 slim is using a newer Cell processor which is faster but also uses less energy.
What’s the secret of the PS3 Slim’s skinny build? It’s down to more than rejigging the odd semi-conductor and improving the power supply, you know. IBM has revealed that the console is packing a brand new Cell processor too. We already know it’s more efficient that the original, and get this: it could well be faster too!
What will this mean? Faster loading times? Less time wasting at loading screens why not upgrade?
Maybe even Little big planet which lags with too many small items on the screen might not lag
*Didn't notice someone already posted about this sorry*
I've already pre-ordered and can't wait to get hands-on and compare speeds.
