Sounds to me like they worried about GoW 3s popularity and trying to build some.

Nope, just giving fans what they wanted, which you would know if you actually read the post instead of coming here to troll.

Maybe you should read the post before telling other people to, since if you did you would know this is NOT what fans asked for.

Just because someones opinion makes you butt-hurt doesn't mean it is trolling.

Simple - the Blu-ray also contains a demo for God of War III. Earlier this year, a survey went out asking people what they would like to see in a GoW III collectors edition. GoW and GoWII for Blu-ray was one of then options.

A lot of people asked for GoW and GoWII on Bluray. Learn to read.

Since you miss it even when bolding it...

Seeing as though the game isn't out until March, why wouldn't they do this? It keeps the fans happy, makes the company some money and builds up hype.

There is nothing to suggest that they are worried whatsoever. Fans wanted the previous two games on Blu-Ray and they'll be getting them.

It's like saying PD released GT5:P because they were worried about the popularity of GT5.

Let me show you why they call me the velour fog. Hit it.

I met her in a club down in old Soho,

Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like coca cola,

C-o-l-a, cola.

She, walked up to me and she asked me to dance,

I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said;

Leela, L-e-e-l-a, Leela, Lee, Lee, Lee, Leela

Leeeeeeeelaaaaaaaa

I can see them doing this as a way to increase hype! and give PS3 owners without B/C to play the games on their PS3s

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I did a post on this matter last night, but i guess most was asleep at that time so my post just vanished without a reply. But heres the full news of what they wrote.

"God Of War Pack Crashes This Year's Holiday Party?

We all know that God of War III won't be ready to go until March of next year, so we've kinda put it on the back burner and turned our attention to the fourth-quarter gems of 2009.

However, it appears that Sony may be preparing a little surprise for all PlayStation 3 owners out there, especially those who were disappointed that GoWIII didn't make it this year. A reader has turned us onto MarkPlayStation's Twitter page; this guy is supposedly a manager for Sony Mexico. And if the translation is correct, there's a very special package heading our way in December: this package will consist of both God of War and God of War II, plus a playable demo of God of War III. Yes, it's a Blu-Ray disc for the PS3 and it's very big news if true. The only bizarre part about this is that Sony hasn't announced it yet, and as this franchise has always been more popular in the eyes of Western gamers, it seems strange that Sony would announce this at the Tokyo Game Show next month. Maybe they don't consider it big enough for a show unveiling; maybe we'll just suddenly see the press release in our inboxes. Who knows?

But we do remember a survey earlier this year that asked gamers what they thought about revamped GoW titles...if we remember correctly. It's no surprise that fans of the series would love to be able to replay the first two stellar installments on the PS3, and that GoWIII demo is even further incentive. We'll see what we can dig up but in the meantime, keep your eyes and ears peeled...

Are they gonna be ports or there will be some kind of emulator?

If this does in fact come out...first day purchase of the GOW1 and 2 Blu Ray...I'll clock both games on my PS3 on God Mode and Titan Mode again...getting ready for GOW3 on hardest difficulty

I would buy it, I never finished the first two.

I'd buy it if it included all 3 games.......it would make a nice gift.

Then perhaps it was the same with MGS4; Konami put out 1-3 in a PS2 collection just before the release of MGS4.

MGS4 has sold 4 million +.

As hopeful as I'd like to be that Both GOW1&2 actually come on blu-ray so that they work on PS3 natively, I have to be a little pessimistic and say that most likely if they come at all is that they'll simply be PS2 game DVD packaged together with GOD3, just like when Konami released the MGS essentials but the 1st game was actually a PS1 CD.

The reason I'm a little pessimistic is this, if Sony where todo GOD1&2 on blu-ray, that means they made those 2 games backwards compatible with the PS3, this then leads to stupid crazy rumours about B/C coming back and this time with hard proof, because you have Sony saying that their not doing it, to then doing it if only for a special edition, and to be honest I don't want to go through the crazy stupid rumours again about B/C to coming back despite the the fact that I want it.

His twitter page shows nothing about this :P, anyway, how are you going to play GoW and GoW II without BC? A little port maybe? Who knows...
