Forums - Microsoft - Multiplayer on separate disc ?

Dupe thread.

Around the Network

Well Halo ODST is in two discs already having the multi player campaign on a separate disc.

Still I can't believe the amount of lazyness in that no one is willing to get up from their chair and change the disc.

No wait I can.

It's just that simple.

meh, it was a given that DVD wouldn't be enough, especially when Microsoft reserve something like 1.5GB for security and stuff, and their have been games already released on more than one DVD.

It'll eventually be a daily occurrence Like installing games on PC and PS3, so what ever....as long as it doesn't look like a wii game then I'm satisfied.

I'll take 2 DVDs over 30FPS any day.

Well I dont see the big problem, if all of the MP is on one disc then you just pop that in and play it, why would you be switching disks. Just think of it like 2 separate games, one Story mode only, one MP only.

you don't swap discs in singleplayer campaign and you don't swap discs in multiplayer matches - where is the problem?

It doesn't bother me really, it's not much of a difference as to the way i play online multiplayer games now. For example, now when i boot up Halo 3, COD 4, Soul Calibur 4, or GTA 4, i know i'm only playing online, i'm in the mind frame for online play only...so i don't even bother with the "campaign"...i just go straight into multiplayer. Having a multiplayer disc only would focus on that aspect.

Wouldn't mind, are we that lazy we can't change a disc? If you can't get off the couch to change it then you need to question your lifestyle ....

I exercise regularly and bike/walk most places I go. I, like others just don't want to have to change disks. Didn't like having to do it in the 32-bit days. A distaste for incvonenience does not connote laziness.

Weight your options in because I remember there was a big thread about how this game ran better on the 360 over the PS3 in pre-production.
