I guess the kind of people that would frequent this site can get a quality HDMI cable online for cheap, but the average consumer will probably get suckered into buying the $60 Monster cable. I know. I used to work at Future Shop.

Yeah man, and if you want to get the best fidelity, you need to spend, like, 100$ on a Monster Cable, Brah. They have gold on the inside which allows the digital signal to pass through... better... somehow.

Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

To connect a PS3 yes.

If you want to connect a high-end Blu-Ray reader to a good A/V receiver than a 100 € cable is what you need.

If you want to connect a high-end Blu-Ray reader to a good A/V receiver than a 100 € cable is what you need.

But an HDMI signal is digital, not analog; it makes little to no difference how expensive your cable is the signal will be the same, unless it's faulty of course

It's not going to make any difference really if its oxygen free etc. like high end analog cables
