What do you think? It looks fine to me.. though incredibly simple and there's nothing really special about it at all.. I find it rather.. boring?
I dunno, it's just the co-op. Seeing some of the co-op modes for other FPS's this year and last this looks rather unentertaining.. I'm kind of disapointed.

Never the less, it's halo and it looks better than ever graphically. I hope some of the campaign modes are more involved, this might just be a tech example, so don't think this is the full picture. the AI also seems really unintelligent.

Looks pretty good. I'm just surprised at how little it looked like Halo in those videos. It seems to be very... modern warfareish.

If it wasn't for the Covenant forces, I wouldn't even think it was Halo.

I felt th same way. It just looked like some random shooter. The halo feeling wasn't there at all. I wonder how much different ODST is going to be from the usual halo experience? I'm itching to find out, really. The last 3 games have been basically exactly the same.

What exactly are you expecting?

I'm not totally sure. Tech has improved a lot since Halo 3 came out and the bar has been raised significantly with games like Call of Duty, Killzone, Gears of war and even resistance(It's co-op is much more involved and intutive from what this appers to be)

I was just.. I dunno. Every new Halo experience for me has been a wonderful one, so I will not call this game down before I play it, but I was just expecting more from Bungie, with the money they've made I expected to see vast improvements to keep the game competitive tech wise.

I suppose though, this is halo, and it will sell truckloads just because it has the name, none the less I wanted to see something more intuitive like the gears of war horde mode or Resistance 2's Co-op objective play.

It does have this.  It is called Firefight.

And as far as I know the game plays like an open world one, where you can go anywhere, but there are certain objectives on certain areas.  You can set waypoints and such for your team mates to plan an assault on an area.

I think the guys in the videos suck really bad at halo.

I remember wathcing videos of Gears 2 horde mode and thinking it looked boring, and then I played it and it turned out to be a blast, and i'm not even a big fan of gears!

Nothing wrong with that video. Looks good to me...

This might be true. I felt the exact same way about the uncharted 2 multi till I played it.
