Finally a long over due PS3 price cut. It is definitely not a plan. It is too little too late for Sony to change the console wars. 8 million gap between PS3 and 360 which will take around 3 years for it to close assuming the PS3 outsells the 360 on average by 50,000 units every week. The Wii is almost 30 million consoles in front of the PS3 and that gap is growing all the time.

I don't think it's the question of price for you but rather your preferrences. So I think you went a little bit off on what you were talking about.

So are you saying that Sony tricked people into buying the PS3 as a Blu-ray player? and now that they have trojan horsed all of these videogame consoles into people's homes, they are going to flip it on them and say it's actually a gaming console and tempt them into buying games for it, by putting out titles that they might actually like to play?!?! o_O

On a side note, their is no game that Sony can put out on the PS3 that can beat Valkyria Chronicles (made by Sega). Sega is the best.

      Well, they've got two Final Fantasies, could still get Kingdom Hearts III, and this pricecut probably cements a current gen Persona game as coming to PS3.
