With PS3 getting a price cut to $299 what do you think Microsoft can do now in response to that. This question has probably already been asked several times, so I'm going to make it a bit more specific. It appears that MS has lost E3 to Nintendo and Sony and Gamecon to Sony. And Nintendo will probably beat Microsoft's Gamecon showing with their own show in a few days, so, in my opinion, that leaves the Tokyo Game Show as Microsoft's last stand for the year.
Now, Microsoft has made great efforts to try to generate success for the xbox in Japan this gen especially to make up for the much ridiculed lack of success for th original xbox there last gen. Even though Microsoft has expended considerable energy in trying to become more successful in Japan none of their Japanese exclusives have really had much success. And two exclusive (as of now) FFs coming to the PS3 in Japan while Japanese developed games that were thought to have been 360 exclusives have been announced to be making the jump to the PS3 instead Tales of Vesperia, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Lost Planet II it now appears that the 360's fortunes in Japan grow ever dimmer.
At the end of the day though Microsoft hates to fail and it looks like they are going to have to make their last stand of the 2009 VG Conferences at Tokyo Game Show, so surely they will have some plan or something up their sleeve. What do you think Microsoft will do at the Tokyo Game Show to try to make up for the rest of this year and possibly secure a better fortune for themselves next year worldwide or in Japan?

Still, I don't doubt the gap is going to much different by the end of the year...
