they are a software company, it was a hell to make a 360, and still not totally unbugged.

If someone really wanted a ps3 they went out and got a ps3. It cracks me up that people think that just because it's 299 now everybody will just run out and grab one now. Then if Microsoft drops the price even a little, you will hear all the same excuses over and over again, oh it's too expensive it's 299, and they need a price drop. People just assumed that the ps3 would just show up and win when it came out and since it hasn't lived up to expectations, people aren't used to it so they write articles every five minutes about how they can win this year and how they can when next year. It just funny watching people react to this price drop.

Exactly. no-one buys things once they become cheaper.
The sales boost the 360 enjoyed was also just a figment of peoples imagination, as was the spike in PS2 sales after the price drop.
I mean, everyone who wanted one already had one, right?

Yeah you are right that's why the CHEAPER dreamcast and the CHEAPER gamecube outsold the ps2. Thanks for setting me straight. Oh and for the record when ps2 became pstwo, it was already way, way ahead of the competition not in third place.
