Where does it say you can't install linux? I searched for linux on the page and nothing came up.
That's just irritating... one of the few reasons for me to get a PS3 was actually Cell development with linux (and I have the posts to prove it).

Yeah, it looks a bit weird when it's standing vertically.
After a google search, I found that the dimensions of the fat PS3 were, 12.8" x 10.8" x 3.8" and weighed 11 pounds.
After converting mm to inches, the Slim is 11.417" x 11.417" x 2.56" and weighs a little over 7 pounds.

Thanks, I saw it now... I guess it's the fat PS3 or nothing for me.
Sony is hellbent on removing features since the PS3 launch.
