Forums - Gaming - List of New IP's this Generation

* Gears of War is not an MS IP it belongs to Epic
* Linger in Shadow is not a game, at best is a tech demo with some interactivity
* Kingdom Under Fire is not a new IP 'KoF The Crusader' was release for the original Xbox

List is probably missing a lot more 360 arcade games.... just don't know em of the top of my head.

I love the Microsoft's IPs. I love most of those games.

Interesting thread. For the 360, you should add Castle Crashers, Mew, and Splosion Man for XBLA.

I also think you should add Nintendo since they are on fire this generation. IF you do add them, I'd put in Endless Ocean, Nintendogs, Professor Layton, Brain Training, Zack & Wiki, de Blob, and the "Wii" series.

Sony is also missing the PSP franchises (Patapon, LocoRoco).

I also think Capcom should have a listing in the OP because I think they own Zack & Wiki, Professor Layton, Dark Void, and a few other ones that I can't think of atm.

Well Castle Crashers, Splosion Man are not owned by MS and Castle Crashers is going to PSN.

I forgot about Nintendo. LOL i remebered them when i did the other companies.

PSP is this gen, i guess, but it wasn't made this gen. So i left that out.

I'll try to make a Nintendo List later.

But remember they have to be owned by the company. I went through a list of XBLA games and there weren't that many owned by MS. Now it may have not been a complete list so that's why i need help.

I wish i could do better formating for the front but i don't know how.

EA have also released Grand Slam Tennis and EA Sports Active, two new IP's.

Nintendo have released Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Play, Wii Music. Now I count these as there own as each can have their own sequel as in the case of Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus but if you don't want to then that's ok, I don't want to debate that :P They've also released Trace Memory, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Endless Ocean, Mario Super Sluggers, Band Brothers, Nintendogs, Brain Age, Sight Training, Professor Layton, Big Brain Academy, Soma Bringer, Art Style titles, bit generation titles..

Nintendo will also release in the near future: Span Smasher, Line Attack Heroes, Monado, Cosmic Walker, Dynamic Slash, Wii Vitality

Why do you put PSN games but not XBLA?

But war... war never changes

Because those PSN games are owned by Sony. The XBLA games I have found are owned by other companies. MS doesn't own them. I keep asking people if they know the ones they own then by all mean give me a list and i will do it.

Also I have added Nintendo. It may not be complete though.

Mirror's edge was such a huge disappointment.

I thought it was cool. Although when it got close to the end i was getting tired of doing the same thing over and over lol. They just need more variety.
