A new chipset means price cut...and less heat also...

The thing is MS was working on Valhalla,a super chip that includes the GPU and the CPU in one single chip... but I didn`t know they want to make it 45nm and not 65 nm...

It makes sense...a single chip combined with 45nm is a lot better than a single chip combined with 65 nm...a lot cheaper too.

I'll video record my 360 running with the fan...because maybe I have a warped sense of hearing, but my launch elite isn't loud...but as I said, maybe my hearing is all screwed up.

It's most likely that the Valhalla chips are what people are waiting for... I don't know what name they are giving the chipset, but the Valhalla is a GPU on CPU solution to reduce heat and latency.

The only thing noisy I find on the 360 is the dvd drive, it is SOOOO loud, but when no cd is in the drive the system is silent, no idea why they can't make a quieter dvd drive for them?

I do! I don't have any problem with the noise at all, was just saying lol,
